Why Did Jojo Make a Purse??
These pictures are the inspiration for my purse, yes the car. The Volkswagen car is a very chic and cute car with a circular shape. The car has the same shape as the purse and I've always liked the car due to its circular angles and that is why I've been attracted to circular objects, because of this car. The three purses above are the purses that I've directly taken inspiration from. These purses are from Vivienne Westwood and retail around 600 - 900 dollars. Her brand is very environmentally friendly and if I were to ever make a fashion brand she would be my inspiration. As you can see in my process work, the cardboard pieces are the same shape as the sides of the purse to replicate the design.
Why Were a Majority of Jojo's Pictures Flowers??
I love the idea of Cottage Core, the aesthetic, it appeals to me because the way of living is so simple, so distant and so "foreign". I love the idea of living out in nature and wearing flow-y beautiful clothing and frolicking in a field of flowers all day. Generally if you think of cottage core you think of those cute mini dresses that are adorned with flowers and living in a small petite house off the grid. This is one of the reasons.
The other reason is that I totally adore flowers. Especially Tulips, Hydrangeas, and Orchids. My love for flowers lead me to take a lot of pictures for my final website. Also that we went flower parks very often during the weekends so my sister could have some time outside of the house and so my mother could look at the peonies.
